Continuing about my cca stuff... where was i? oh, infocomn, strings, concert band, st john and netball. so i guess i finished my cca stuff already.
Moving on, i thought of a bunch of other stuff to write about so i shall list them here: -Lifeskills camp -Lessons and homework -anime!!!
Lifeskills camp was super fun!!!! it was a 2 days day camp plus a three day two night camp but for me it was a two day one night camp since i had to leave on the second night coz i have violin exam the next day. I missed the prize presentation ceremony aw man!
First two days were just some workshops and stuff, though it was quite fun and interesting.
Argh, i dun remember everything that happened on those two days but i do remember the character workshop.
it was something about like finding our character or something like tht. they said there were four kinds of characters: chili-leader, temperamental, etc. etc. fishball- vry happy and loud and stuff bittergourd- pessimistic (i remember the least traits sorry!) bee hoon- like kind, caring, a bit quiet. (i guess something like a peacelover)
thn we were supposed to paste a piece of paper on our back and let others write our character traits. i was a 'bee hoon' -.- i guess thts the impression i give to my class 109.
Woo hoo, now its the residential camp...
First day, had some fun and games erm for team building ders. settling down in our residence-our classroom argh. oh ya, we had to clean it with buckets of water, a mop and some pieces of cloth. thn we had a cheering competition after a timed race to complete stations around the school. and mascot and flag making. i wish i had a pic of our mascot and flag. thts about all.
Second day, the most exciting day ever!!! First thing in the morning, nan zhong quan. OMG... we were supposed to do nan zhong quan before breakfast D: ! nan zhong quan and nanyang girls' high's original quan shu. we had to go like 'ha!' and our sec two seniors were louder than us xD. After breakfast we went to safra mount faber!! So fun!! there was this amazing race which was real amazing coz we were supposed to climb to the top of mount faber. i felt like i was climbing the great wall of china coz there were just endless steps with big gaps!
Still about second day though i created a new paragraph to put an emphasis on this: TALENTIME!
It was a performance all sec 1s had to put up. at the same time, it was also a competition between classes to see which class is the best. Our class was doing this triple thing. Coz, u noe we are a music class, so we had three different groups for this performance: Dancers, Singers, Musicians(two violins, one dizi, one guitar, one piano, two cello)
i was a SINGER! can u believe it? i cant sing, to speak the truth. Okay whatever. thn we performed this song called gift of a friend by demi levato. it was so touching! LOL!! the musicians in our class are real pro lor! they listened to the song and wrote out the song sheet! Amazing rite? we performed without a cd or com! i loved it!
We got first but technically third coz our marks were slightly lower but the teachers said it was real hard to choose the first. ah nvm just take it as we are 3rd.
Sorry but i would end here coz i am gonna write other stuff in my next post otherwise i would have nothing to write.
